Hello and welcome back!
Today I added another chapter to Red River Trails to The Hogue Connection. It’s a brief description of our family’s home before the move west to the Indian Territory in 1880. It also includes a little history about the area and leads in to the next chapter about the early life of William M. Hogue.
Thanks go out to some new cousins I made contact with in the last couple of weeks: Ray Warthen, and his siblings Wayne and Barbara (2nd cousins, once removed on the Gatlin side), Steve Hogue (4th cousin, once removed), and Elizabeth Gatlin (4th cousin). With this blog, I’m in the business of collecting cousins and it’s finally paying off!
