Well, unfortunately, the wonderful Loop 289 RV Park here in Lubbock, TX (birthplace and final resting place of the great rocker, Buddy Holly) has crappy WiFi. The guy in the office said there was no guarantee that either the password or the internet would work. You can’t win ’em all!
Anyway, I had planned on a huge update with pics from our tour of Rubottom, Courtney, and St. Jo, but that will have to wait, since I’m burning up data using my phone as a hotspot. I’ll try to either find some internet access in Carlsbad, NM tomorrow or in Santa Fe four days from now.
Except for a little rain today, the weather has really improved, and we’re having a great trip. I got together with a new found 2nd Cousin yesterday in Ardmore, OK. We had great Texas BBQ tonight at Rudy’s Country Store here, but more about that later as well.
